As we sat in the Indian restaurant, he pulled out the letter of thanks from his back pocket. A woman who had been so encouraged by what had been said by him to her several years ago and how God had worked it into her life over the last few years. This happened over a restaurant table with myself and Kathryn having a meal with the leaders of the YWAM Derby base just last night.
I have the privilege of overseeing YWAM Derby as part of my portfolio of responsibilities within YWAM England. Having been here to input into the DTS, I’ve also been meeting and praying for staff and also had the chance last night to take the outgoing base leader and his wife for a meal. They, and the ministry has blessed 100’s. As you serve YWAMers like this you cannot help be impressed with the commitment, passion and love for people that God builds into people like this couple.
