Healing a part of everyday life

Today I prayed with one of the YWAM staff who is a mom with a child and one on the way.  She’s been having pains in here hips, possibly something to do with her pregnancy.  It’s becoming normal to pray for people now.  We spent a brief time inviting god’s glorious presence and then prayed for healing. After two minutes of prayer, we asked her to check and she was not feeling any pain.  Can I encourage you to pray for people you meet who are ill and not just sympathise.  Our God wants to act.  Don’t rush it, wait on God and work with the anointing by praying for the things he leads you to.  This is for every believer not just for a select few Christians.  Jesus said, you shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover.  Let’s learn to move with the compassion of Jesus – that is the love of God that wants to change situations.
